THE CHAMPIONSHIP
There are TWO (2) ways for a team to qualify for the championship at the end of 12 weeks:
1. Have a Top 3 Accumulated League Points for their home bar (min. 10 games played)
2. Accumulate a minimum of 700 league points
NOTE: If a qualifying championship team has a member(s) that played at least 50% of a team's games as a member of another qualifying team, only ONE (1) of those qualifying teams is allowed entry into the Championship. No exceptions.

Q: How do I keep my account active?
A: Team accounts only remain active for 30 DAYS if there is no activity. That means in order to keep your account active, a team must do one of two things:
1. Participate in and complete at least one (1) weeknight game within thirty (30) days of the team's last game
2. Answer the Bonus Question on Facebook or Instagram within thirty (30) days of the team's last answered
If a team does not do one of the two things above at least once every 30 days, that team account will close and all points and multipliers associated with it are deleted.
Q: How do we earn bonus points?
A: There are many ways for teams to earn bonus points for their team accounts. Here are the different ways as well as their values:
1. Order food/drink from the location = 1pt per token
2. Answer the Bonus Question on Facebook or Instagram daily = 5pts per day
3. Tell the host the answer to the ads bonus question at the game = 5pts per game
4. Tell the host the answer to the SMS bonus = 5pts per game
5. Bring a canned food item = 5pts per item
6. Purchasing additional Music Bingo cards = 10pts per card
6. Playing Rounds 1-4 of the game = 10% of your final score (rounded up to nearest pt)
6. Win Single-Line Bingo during Music Bingo Round = 100pts
7. Win Double-Line Bingo during Music Bingo Round = 300pts
8. Win Cover-All Bingo during Music Bingo Round = 500pts
NOTE: For every 10 games you play in a trivia year, your bonus point multiplier increases by 1x (max 6x). This now includes all of the above bonuses.
Q: How can we use bonus points to better our score?
A: We've incorporated a"Halftime" period where at the end of Round 2, teams that are ranked below the team in the middle of the standings can use their bonus points to tie that team. No teams above the team ranked in the middle can use bonus points to better their score or standings. Bonus Points can only be redeemed during this point in the game.
Q: How are we assigned a Home Bar?
A: After a team has played in 10 games over the 12-week period, they become eligible to participate in the Championship game if they're also (1) a Top 3 team at their Home Bar and/or (2) have earned 700 or more league points.
Once a team has reached their 10-game eligibility, a Home Bar is determined based on how many games, or how frequently a team has participated at each location. A team that has played a majority of, or at least 50% of their first 10 games at a location, will be considered a representative of that location.
Q: How are teams ranked during the League Season? How does a team make the Championship Game?
Instead of teams being ranked by PPG (points per game), they will now be ranked by accumulated points over the 12 weeks. Therefore, the Top 3 teams at each Home Bar will have played in at least 10 games, and have the highest number of League Points earned by the end of each League Season (or 700 points if not a Top 3 team).
Q: What's a Double Week? How does it work?
For each League Season, there will be two “Double Weeks” - the first is Week 6 and the second is Week 12.
Before the game begins during these double weeks, teams will be given the option to either…
1) Double their attendance for the game (i.e. make their one game attended worth two), or
2) Double their league point total for the night
This way, if a team needs more games to count toward their eligibility, they can make that game count as two games, or if they need more points to count toward their eligibility, they can double their league score for the game.
A quick note…a team can only double their score or game count ONCE in a week, AND, can only double each ONCE in a season. Therefore, if Week 6 is a double game for a team, then Week 12 can ONLY be a double points night.
